Monday Blues

Hey lovelies!

Mondays suck. Am I right or am I right? You don’t feel like doing anything because you just had a great weekend and it’s back to reality. Some Mondays, or even every other day of the week, you just want to do the bare minimum and get the day over with. I feel that. You don’t have to look like you just rolled out of bed with this five-minute and done look and this insanely cute summer work outfit. Just because you’re a professional doesn’t mean you have to wear the same basic pant or skirt suit to the office even when its sweltering out. Just stick to a few colors, my go to are black, white, and grey with maybe some pink added in. You can never go wrong in baby pink! Gaucho pants are so in trend right now and you can dress these boys up or down. Dress them up like I did for the office with a nice blouse and pumps. Dress them down by adding your favorite tee or casual long sleeve and flats or slip on sneaks, and bam! instant nice but low key outfit.

Easy Makeup

I start by washing my face with my favorite acne fighting pads, I then tone with this refreshing alcohol-free toner, and then finish off with my favorite natural day moisturizer. I also do this routine at night before bed but with a natural night moisturizer.

Once my face is clean and fresh, I go in with my ELF glow primer just to make sure my makeup stays all day and to give it a nice glow. I apply my under-eye dark circle corrector from Garnier that I SWEAR by! Once it’s all blended, I apply my concealers. Yes you read that right. ConcealerS. I start with the Maybelline Dark Circle Eraser Concealer and blend by lightly patting the product into the skin with my Avene water dampened beautyblender. Once that’s blended, I go in with my Maybelline Master Conceal and blend the same way I did my first concealer. I am the lightest shades in both concealers, believe it or not. LOL

I take my MAC Sheertone Blush in Sincere and drape the color from the apple of my cheek up to the temple in a light sweeping motion almost like the smile of a smiley face. This works like a bronzer or contour without the hassle.

After that, I prime my lashes with Loreal’s Voluminous Lash Primer then apply my mascaras. Yes, I love to layer even my makeup. LOL! I first go in with the Better Than Sex waterproof mascara in the blackest black as a base, then I apply my Loreal Telescopic Mascara in Blackest Black, waterproof of course. Once my lashes are just the way I like them, I add the Sephora Volume mascara in black to add volume and depth.

Last step! Apply the Nice ‘N’ Spicy lip kit from MAC! And viola, you’re done. Now, I know it seems like there is no way you could do this in five minutes but I promise, once you get the hang of it, its easy peasy and you’re out the door!

Have fun playing around with new makeup and let me know if you have any questions! I’ll post a video on FaceBook for anyone who needs a bit of visual aids!

Happy Monday!
